Tenancy Progressor

On behalf of a franchised estate agency based in Wimbledon Village, S/W London, Hawk Personnel are actively looking for a Tenancy Progressor.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Tenancy Progressor to join our lettings team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tenancy progression process from offer acceptance to move-in, ensuring all documentation, compliance, and communication are handled efficiently and professionally. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
 
Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and third parties to coordinate the smooth progression of tenancy agreements.
- Prepare and issue tenancy agreements, guarantor forms, and legal documentation.
- Conduct compliance checks and ensure all tenants meet the necessary criteria.
- Collect first month’s rent, and security deposits.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements including Right to Rent checks, Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs, and EICRs.
- Organise inventories, check-ins, and move-in appointments.
- Update CRM systems and maintain accurate records throughout the tenancy process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all parties and act as the main point of contact during the pre-tenancy stage.
- Resolve queries efficiently and professionally, escalating issues where appropriate.

 Key Requirements

- Previous experience in a lettings or property-related role is desirable.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and lettings CRM systems (e.g., Reapit, Jupix, or similar).
- Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- ARLA Propertymark qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Knowledge of the lettings process
